To celebrate BYLARA’s 40th Anniversary in 2019 we ran some awards.
GB40BYL
From April 2019, we took it in turns to operate as GB40BYL.
- Certificates were available for working GB40BYL a minimum of 40 times (one contact per day counted towards the award).
- Further certificates were available for working multiples of 40.
- Endorsements were available on request, such as making contacts using a specific band, mode, etc.
40th Anniversary Award
The challenge for this award was to work as many YLs as possible within 2019. The YLs did not need to be BYLARA members and can be anywhere in the world.
- Certificates were available for working multiples of 12 YLs.
- Each YL’s callsign and BYLARA number (where appropriate) were featured on the certificate.
- Endorsements were available on request, such as 12 contacts using a specific band, mode, etc.
